Marshall JCM800 Series of amps did have great gain, but can be noisy, ice picky, thin sounding and lack warmth and a useable clean sound. After years of Moding these amps for customers to sound as they should, I decided to build the Retro-King Master 50. A Rock-n-Roll power house that incorporates all of that incredible harmonic drenched and punchy crunch tone that we all love. Unlike the original, the Master 50 is hand wired point to point on a vintage style turret board using mustard style tone caps and carbon comp resisters.
